Proud to be a Primary Teacher...

Dear Primary teachers, Nation’s Builders!
This is Mrs. Narayani Singh, feeling great to talk to you. At the outset let me congratulate you all for choosing a profession of a teacher which is the mother profession of all professions. Greater than that, being a Primary teacher is somewhat more precious because, the glamorous kangoora is visible to be appreciated of any structure but the foundation. It lies underneath giving strength to the entire building unnoticed. The firmness of any structure without solid and strong foundation is beyond imagination. So happens with the primary education in life.
Without a systematic primary education, higher education is not possible. As the smell of mother undoubtedly creates confidence in an infant, the association of a primary teacher creates bonds of learning among the tiny tots. Children encounter Primary teachers first in their life. They get associated with higher section teachers at later stage.

Therefore my dear friends, you would agree with me that if a primary teacher fails in discharging his duties genuinely, the child will not have proper base to construct knowledge further.

It is a primary teacher only who makes the child to learn alphabet to read and write. It is he only who helps the child to open his eyes wide to observe the world around him and identify things. It is a primary teacher only who encourages a child to count things using the numbers and compare things big and small, less or more and begins to know how much. Primary teacher encourages first the tender fingers to draw lines, shapes, images and fill them with colours. It is the primary teacher only who makes the child feels thrilled running on track with his tiny steps or participate a Jalebi race. It is a primary teacher who fills the innocent mind with curiosity to discover facts and surprise the world. Imagination commences to dwell far and wide in life with the inspiration of a primary teacher.

As the elementary or nursery schooling is a parenting at school, primary education is the stepping stones for producing a poet, artist, scientist, Musician, Mathematician and so on….

Therefore, my dear beloved primary teachers!  Embark on an exciting educational scenario nurturing budding talents to bloom with their maximum potential.

Let us together give the children of our nation wings to fly to the zenith. Let us help the other teachers to nourish and ignite the souls to manifest the perfection within them. Let us prove our birth worth as primary and foremost important teachers in the society. None should have the feeling that Alas! I would have got good primary teachers to turn up into anything else....

So, become Dronacharya to shape Eklavyas and Arjun. Create Aryabhattas and Ramanujam, Make Vivekananda and Mahatma Gandhi. Our world is in need of such incarnations once again badly.

We have not to wait for others to start. Have faith in you. Primary teachers can do wonders to bring a new dawn in education system. Make the fundamentals of learning clear to your students rather than merely completing of syllabus without concepts. Let all the students know to read and write, to do all four operations in Math, be smart to observe and identify to derive concepts by themselves and to carry themselves without fear.

Kindly share your experiences, opinion and views on the role of primary teacher... I wish to be connected with thousands of true teachers...

Bye…..Take Care.
